The reason for the lack of posts to this blog is that I have not been teaching a US Government class. But I am teaching a Politics and Public Policy class this semester so there is some overlap.
I’ve posted a piece of my syllabus for anyone who might find it useful. Some of it involves speakers and trips that are probably only possible for a school in or near the nation’s capital, but a couple of ideas might be adaptable, particularly the interest group paper and the gridlock assignment. I’ve posted the PPt I developed for this, but note that it’s already out of date (I created it before the announced filibuster reform, for example).11Assignments PPPGridlock
